Job summary

Fortress Information Security in Orlando, FL is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Specialist to join our team. You will lead open-source investigations to identify cybersecurity incidents, validate findings across multiple sources, and produce an initial assessment for identified incidents.

You will evaluate risk, document new procedures, and create professional write-ups detailing findings and vendor risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of open-source research and cybersecurity intelligence analysis.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and OSINT tools/techniques.
• Experience in data management.
• Ability to research and analyze open-source information.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Advanced cybersecurity knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform open-source research and optimize search engine queries.
• Evaluate security incidents and analyze risks.
• Review assessments and benchmark results from monitored websites.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers on incidents.
• Improve delivery processes for security content verification.
• Develop and maintain delivery process documentation.
• Support internal tool testing during deployments.
• Other duties as assigned.
