Job summary

ThreatLocker in Orlando, FL is seeking a Threat Analyst to join the Threat Intelligence team. You will drive research on emerging cybersecurity threats, track APT adversaries, and perform malware analysis and incident investigations to produce technical intelligence.

You will author blog posts and reports, leverage telemetry to improve ThreatLocker Detect coverage, and collaborate with Detection Engineering to expand threat detection capabilities. The role is in-office in Orlando.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of information security experience.
• Minimum 2 years in malware analysis, reverse engineering, digital forensics, or related discipline.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and forensic artifacts.
• Familiarity with malware analysis tools (IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, Detect It Easy, x64dbg, Malcat, HxD).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and investigate new and emerging cybersecurity threats.
• Track APT adversaries and characterize their TTPs.
• Conduct malware analysis, reverse engineering, and infrastructure investigations.
• Author technical blog posts and finished intelligence reports.
• Collaborate with Detection Engineering to improve threat coverage.
