Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union in Raleigh seeks a Cyber Intelligence Analyst to turn external threat reporting and internal telemetry into actionable intelligence, build and tune detections in Splunk, and help drive the shift from reporting on vulnerabilities toward reducing real exposure.

You will spend time writing SPL and correlation searches while reading threat reports and close the loop between the two.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat intelligence, detection engineering, threat hunting, or SOC analysis.
• Hands-on Splunk experience with SPL, Enterprise Security, and CIM-based data modeling.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and vulnerability prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Collect and operationalize threat intelligence from feeds and advisories.
• Design, build, test, and tune detections in Splunk and SIEM tooling.
• Conduct threat hunts across endpoints, networks, cloud, and identity.
• Produce concise intelligence products for engineers and executives.
