Moonshot is recruiting an Analyst to support delivery of threat intelligence reports monitoring online extremism and targeted violence in the US. You will analyze discourse across online spaces to identify patterns and threats to public officials, vulnerable communities, and critical infrastructure.

The role involves gathering open-source data, drafting weekly reports, and translating findings into clear, evidence-based written products for US-based clients.

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring extremist online ecosystems.
• Strong analytical writing with evidence-based assessments.
• Ability to work under strict timelines and deadlines.
• Familiarity with OSINT methods on mainstream and fringe platforms.
• Interest in AI-assisted research and writing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Continuous monitoring of online spaces relevant to targeted violence and threats.
• Drafting weekly intelligence reports and flash bulletins with clear sections.
• Gathering data from social media and other sources for analyses.
• Maintaining databases and reviewing social platforms for reporting.
• Developing deep dives into trends within online extremist ecosystems.
• Participating in client briefings and tailoring delivery to audiences.
• Identifying workflow inefficiencies and proposing improvements.
• Building client relationships and identifying new project opportunities.
