Job summary

Moonshot is recruiting an Intelligence Analyst to join our threat monitoring team. You will conduct daily monitoring and OSINT investigations into online threats, lead the development of risk assessments, provide expert guidance to clients, and produce high-quality, actionable insights.

You will work across the full intelligence cycle, define requirements, monitor client accounts, and run digital investigations to meet dynamic client needs. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in OSINT investigations or intelligence analysis within government, fusion center, law enforcement, corporate or executive security, GSOC, or similar background.
• Strong OSINT and social media investigation skills, able to process large messy data sets independently.
• Understanding of the intelligence cycle: defining requirements, building a collection plan, and producing analysis.
• Judgment on threat credibility based on intent and capability, not volume.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities without sacrificing quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily monitoring and OSINT investigations into online harms, including impersonation, stalking, NCII/deepfake content, doxxing, and threat attribution.
• Lead the development of risk assessments and threat classifications with precise, evidence-based judgments.
• Distill large volumes of social media and open source data into clear, actionable analysis.
• Develop reports and briefings tailored to client requirements.
• Escalate high-priority threats promptly, coordinating with platform trust and safety contacts, legal teams, and law enforcement as appropriate.
• Manage a demanding reporting schedule across multiple accounts, balancing time, scope, and quality.
• Contribute to evolving Moonshot's investigative methodology and tools.
