Job summary

ThreatLocker in Orlando, FL is seeking a Threat Analyst to drive research and intelligence efforts focused on identifying and investigating new cybersecurity threats. You will track APT adversaries, analyze TTPs, and produce high-impact technical intelligence.

The role involves malware analysis, reverse engineering, and contributing to threat detection coverage in collaboration with Detection Engineering. An in-office position with opportunities to publish research and support product roadmap

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Security.
• Minimum of 2 years in malware analysis, reverse engineering, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with malware analysis and reverse engineering tools listed above.

Responsibilities

• Identify and investigate new and emerging cybersecurity threats.
• Track APT adversaries and characterize their TTPs.
• Conduct malware analysis, reverse engineering, infrastructure investigations, and campaign research.
• Analyze artifacts and telemetry to identify malicious activity and evolving threat patterns.
• Author high-impact technical blog posts covering malicious software and campaigns.
• Produce finished intelligence reports on campaigns and threat actors.
• Collaborate with Detection Engineering to improve threat detection coverage.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Apply MITRE ATT&CK framework to threat research in enterprise environments.
