Job summary

NiSource Inc. is seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst in the Columbus, OH area. This hybrid, full-time role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and delivering actionable threat intelligence across cyber and physical domains, guiding security protocols and incident response.

You will produce strategic and tactical intelligence products, support protective travel security programs, and collaborate with enterprise security stakeholders to enhance information sharing and automation capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Threat Intelligence, Security Operations, Incident Response, Intelligence Analysis, or related fields.
• 4+ years applying the intelligence lifecycle and OSINT/GEOINT methodologies.
• 4+ years producing all-source intelligence reports for technical and business audiences.
• 4+ years working with intelligence platforms and OSINT tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze open-source, proprietary, and partner intelligence related to geopolitical risks and physical security concerns.
• Produce strategic and tactical intelligence products and briefings.
• Support protective intelligence and travel security programs with briefings and real-time updates.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Corporate Security on incident response and investigations.
• Develop and refine intelligence reporting thresholds, templates, and data collection mechanisms.
• Maintain intelligence metrics, dashboards, and KPIs across the team.
