Job summary

NiSource seeks an experienced Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our Enterprise Security team. This full-time, hybrid role requires three on-site days per week and supports Columbus, OH or Merrillville, IN.

The position offers a salary range with relocation assistance provided. You will collect and analyze OSINT and other intelligence, produce strategic and tactical reports, support incident response, and work with Cybersecurity and Corporate Security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in Threat Intelligence, Security Operations, Incident Response, Intelligence Analysis, or related fields.
• 4+ years applying the intelligence lifecycle and OSINT methods.
• 4+ years producing all-source intelligence reports and briefings.
• 4+ years working with OSINT tools/databases such as Dataminr, Google Threat Intelligence, Skopenow.
• Proficiency in Word, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, and AI for data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze open-source, proprietary, and partner intelligence related to geopolitical risks, critical infrastructure, and security concerns.
• Produce strategic and tactical intelligence products, including threat assessments and risk forecasts.
• Support protective intelligence and travel security programs with briefings and real-time updates.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Corporate Security on incident response and investigations.
• Develop intelligence reporting thresholds, templates, and data collection mechanisms.
• Maintain intelligence metrics, dashboards, and KPIs to align with business objectives.
