Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst to help train AI systems by validating real-world cyber threat data and performance. This remote, hourly contract offers flexible scheduling and the chance to work with top research teams on frontier AI challenges.

You'll analyze threat reports, evaluate IOCs and TTPs, and apply MITRE ATT&CK to ensure AI outputs reflect attacker tradecraft. Independent, detail-oriented work is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in threat intelligence, SOC analysis, or security research.
• Familiar with MITRE ATT&CK, OSINT collection, CTI workflows, or similar frameworks.
• Able to distinguish genuine attacker behavior from noise, fabricated data, or hallucinated AI outputs.
• Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and classify real-world threat reports, adversary campaigns, and attack narratives.
• Evaluate indicators of compromise (IOCs), TTPs, and end-to-end attack chains for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate, structure, and validate threat intelligence data used to train and assess AI systems.
• Review AI-generated threat intelligence outputs and flag inaccuracies, gaps, or fabricated behavior.
• Apply frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to assess how well AI captures real attacker tradecraft.
• Help model how threat intelligence is tracked, analyzed, and communicated in practice.

What You'll Do
