Job summary

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Defense Threat Hunting Analyst to join our Cyber Defense Team. You will conduct proactive threat hunting to detect and mitigate APTs across enterprise systems, leveraging MITRE ATT&CK, Active Directory, and PowerShell.

You will support red team exercises and continuously improve hunting capabilities in a DoD-aligned environment. The role requires DODD 8570 IAT Level III and CSSP Analyst certifications, a technical degree or equivalent

Qualifications

• DODD 8570 IAT Level III Certification required (e.g., CISSP, CASP+).
• DODD 8570 CSSP Analyst Certification required (e.g., CEH, CySA+).
• College degree in a technical related discipline; or 7+ years cyber defense experience if no degree.

Responsibilities

• Threat hunting and mitigation: identify and neutralize APTs across enterprise systems.
• Assess servers, hosts, and network devices for adversary activity using MITRE ATT&CK, AD, and PowerShell.
• Support Red Team exercises to enhance detection and mitigation capabilities.
• Analyze new APT TTPs to improve Hunt Team effectiveness.
• Create new detection use cases and document findings in ITSM tickets as needed.
• Update hunt tactics, techniques, procedures, and training materials annually.
• Deliver at least two training sessions annually with 90% attendee satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining CSSP accreditation per DoD 8530.01-M.
