Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a Cyber Threat Hunt Analyst to join our CSOC in McLean, VA. The role requires deep understanding of cyber threat hunting, APTs, and the latest TTPs used by adversaries. You will detect advanced threats, monitor threat intel, and contribute to security posture enhancements.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in threat hunting, incident response, and scripting with Python or PowerShell, plus relevant certifications. TS/SCI w/ Poly is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2+ years in cyber threat hunting or incident response.
• Experience working with network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.
• Experience using threat hunting and forensic tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat hunting activities to detect advanced threats that evade traditional security solutions.
• Continuously monitor and analyze threat intelligence sources for emerging threats.
• Search for signs of malicious activity in networks and systems.
• Develop and maintain threat hunting playbooks, processes, and procedures.
• Provide detailed reports and briefings on findings to senior management.
