Job summary

VTG Byte Systems, a subsidiary of VTG, is seeking a Threat Hunter to proactively detect, investigate, and mitigate cyber threats within a large enterprise environment. This role emphasizes hypothesis-based threat hunting (HMM-4) aligned with the Mitre ATT&CK framework, and collaboration across endpoint, network, threat intelligence, cloud, and data science teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a cyber security analyst, incident responder, or closely related cyber security discipline.
• 4-6 years of experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive threat hunting using HMM-4 and Mitre ATT&CK.
• Develop hypotheses for targeted threat hunts using threat intel and data.
• Coordinate with teams to collect and analyze security events from logs, alerts, traffic, and endpoint telemetry.
• Use SIEM/EDR and other tools to identify IOCs and anomalies.
• Analyze threats, assess impact, and propose mitigations and remediation.
