Job summary

FalconX is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to join our security operations team in the United States. You will detect, investigate, and respond to incidents across on-premise and cloud environments, while proactively hunting threats to strengthen our defenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in cybersecurity.
• 3+ years of experience in security operations or threat hunting.
• Experience with log data for detection and response (Cloud, EDR, Network).
• Experience developing and deploying detection rules (Yara, Sigma, SQL-based rules).
• Strong understanding of network security monitoring and log correlation.
• Knowledge of attacker TTPs using MITRE ATT&CK.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Understanding of endpoint security, cloud security, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Analyze security alerts to identify potential threats and respond quickly.
• Conduct forensic investigations and deep-dive analysis of events to spot trends and improve defenses.
• Proactively hunt threats across endpoint, network, and cloud environments.
• Develop and refine threat-hunting methodologies and automation for detection.
• Automate threat detection and analysis using scripting languages.
• Continuously monitor emerging threats to enhance detection and response strategies.
