Job summary

CLEAR is seeking a Senior Security Operations Analyst III to join our SOC team to enhance our ability to detect, investigate, and respond to evolving security threats. You will lead complex investigations and help develop the analysts and program around you.

You will improve detection across SIEM and EDR, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate with Engineering and Infrastructure to strengthen CLEAR's security posture. Expect on-call duties and clear communication to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 5+ years in security operations or incident response.
• Experience with SIEM/EDR monitoring, threat detection, and security investigations.
• Ability to apply threat intelligence and frameworks to improve controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex investigations across networks, endpoints, data centers, cloud environments, and other systems.
• Develop, tune, and optimize detection logic across SIEM, EDR, and other platforms.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Infrastructure to remediate threats and improve security posture.
• Apply threat intelligence and automation to identify patterns and improve workflows.
• Mentor junior analysts and help establish scalable playbooks and standards.
• Continuously evaluate detection coverage against evolving threats and frameworks.
• Improve SOC workflows, SOPs, and tooling for efficient threat analysis.
• Communicate findings and risk to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical security events.
