Fluidstack is hiring for a senior security role to lead the detection engineering function and drive incident response across cloud and on‑premise infrastructure. You will own detections, automate triage, and collaborate with corp IT to scale security tooling for a frontier AI compute buildout.

You will operate with autonomy, deliver end-to-end security capabilities, and help shape the security strategy for a rapidly growing company that values speed, scale, and principled engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security operations or related roles.
• Experience building or scaling a detection engineering function.
• Hands-on detections across cloud telemetry and endpoint signals.
• Strong scripting and automation in Python or similar.
• Incident response leadership at scale and postmortems impact.
• You lead direction without heavy management overhead.
• Experience coordinating with corp IT and infrastructure teams.
• Bonus: GPU clusters, HPC security, or open-source detection content.

Responsabilités

• Build the detection engineering function end-to-end with telemetry pipelines.
• Write detections across cloud and endpoint sources with tests and version control.
• Lead incident response for high-severity events and drive containment.
• Automate triage and enrichment in Python to scale alert handling.
• Partner with leadership to translate threat gaps into a roadmap.
• Coordinate telemetry and fixes across corp IT and infrastructure teams.
