Job summary

Fluidstack in California is hiring a Senior Detection Engineer to build and scale detection content across cloud telemetry (AWS/GCP/Azure) and endpoint signals. You will own detection-as-code pipelines, write tests, and drive automation to keep alert volume manageable in a fast-moving data-center infrastructure company.

You'll bring 8+ years in security operations or incident response, deep hands-on detection experience, and strong Python scripting to implement end-to-end detection solutions

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response at scale.
• Hands-on experience writing detections for cloud telemetry (AWS/GCP/Azure) and endpoint telemetry.
• Strong Python scripting and automation to maintain detection pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own detection-as-code end-to-end with tests and CI.
• Write detections across cloud and endpoint telemetry.
• Drive automation of triage and enrichment to scale alert volume.
• Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams in a fast-moving environment.
