The Threat Modeling Center is responsible for the development and delivery of high-fidelity threat modeling products in support of MDA and MDA’s Ballistic Missile Defense System. The Threat Modeling Center is looking for a Threat Modeling Quality Analyst Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is an on-site position and will be located at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs. Relocation assistance is not available.
Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to follow established processes and procedures. Must be a motivated team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to ask questions and learn. Must be able to adapt to rapid changing project requirements and meet firm product schedule delivery dates. Will also serve as the final quality control checkpoint for data integrated through the Threat Modeling Process.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing Software and Materials of partially finished or finished products.
Collaborate with software engineering and systems engineering functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
Devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of software and completed systems.
Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, and mechanisms.
Conduct quality assurance tests and perform statistical analysis of kinematic data created. Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
Assist in reporting metrics to the Agile process including monitoring and assisting with the Epics and Sprints entry.
Basic Qualifications:
Level 1: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university.
Level II: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
Linux, Python or C++ Experience.
A current DoD Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Agile development.
Experience with avro/json files.

Salary Range: $67,300 - $100,900
Salary Range 2: $81,300 - $121,900
