Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Director of Threat Assessment to safeguard people, property, and assets. The hybrid role focuses on proactively reviewing workplace safety concerns, mitigating risks, and coordinating with network stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include developing policies, evaluating threats, and leading education on Workplace Violence and security. Requires a law enforcement/security leadership background and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management or related fields.
• 10+ years hospital safety, security or law enforcement experience.
• 5+ years healthcare leadership experience.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develops policies and procedures in collaboration with various departments to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Identifies vulnerabilities, analyzes potential risks, develops mitigation strategies and coordinates with stakeholders to ensure safety and security across the Network.
• Evaluates behaviors, incidents, and potential threats to determine the level of risk and develop appropriate responses.
• Develops mitigation plans and educates relevant stakeholders.
• Chair Anti-Violence Network Committee and coordinate WPV education across campuses.
