Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard patients, staff, and visitors across our Medical Center campus in New Jersey. You will patrol facilities, control access, respond to codes, and document incidents with professionalism and care.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license; prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient computer skills with MS Office/Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Make continuous patrols of the Medical Center to deter security issues and ensure safety.
• Respond to security calls and codes and take appropriate action.
• Control access and provide assistance to patients and visitors as needed.
• Prepare and submit incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.
