Jobot is seeking a motivated Thread Rolling Operator Trainee to join our Los Angeles area manufacturing team. The role focuses on learning and operating thread rolling equipment to produce precision metal components in a fast-paced environment.

The position runs 2nd shift, 1:30pm–10:00pm, Monday–Friday, offering growth opportunities through on-the-job training and exposure to blueprints, inspection tools, and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions.
• Basic math skills including fractions and decimals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate thread rolling machines and related production equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, and microscopes to verify part quality.
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure product compliance.
• Monitor machine performance and report equipment or safety concerns promptly.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow quality management procedures, safety standards, and production requirements.
• Accurately complete production records and manufacturing transactions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain workplace organization standards.
