Job summary

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read charts and specifications, and experience with Waterbury or Hartford thread rolling machines.

You will maintain, oil, and clean equipment, follow safety rules, and work closely with engineering to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret charts, specifications, and safety instructions.
• Experience with thread rolling machines (Waterbury or Hartford preferred).
• Able to complete routine production and quality documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade/apprenticeship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up threading dies, cams, and related components per specs.
• Operate thread rolling machines and verify part dimensions.
• Adjust speeds and tooling to maintain quality and throughput.
• Maintain equipment through cleaning, oiling, and housekeeping.
• Identify quality issues and work with engineers to resolve them.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
