Job summary

MW Industries, Inc. is seeking a Thread Roll Operator for the 2nd shift to set up and operate thread rollers, producing headed blanks to specification. Experience on Waterbury or Hartford thread rolling machines is preferred.

The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to read shop drawings and maintenance manuals. On-site work in Addison, IL with a 50 lb lifting requirement and strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• Trade school apprenticeship experience required.
• Trimming Operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Compile dimensions of stock and sequence of machining operations per charts and specifications.
• Set up, install, and adjust threading die, die cutters, chamfering tools, feed grips, and related components to ensure quality parts.
• Adjust speed controls to synchronize transfer and ejection of stock with machine action.
• Load SEMS components (washers) into the machine.
• Maintain, oil, and clean machines; manage oil trays and housekeeping.
• Identify quality issues and work with engineers to correct and document.
