Job summary

MW Industries, Inc. is seeking a Thread Roll Operator to join our Addison, IL facility on the 2nd shift.

This role sets up and runs thread rolling machines to produce headed blanks to specification, requiring strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with Waterbury or Hartford machines. Responsibilities include selecting and adjusting dies, verifying dimensions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality while adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Trade school apprenticeship experience is preferred.
• Associates degree is a plus.
• Trimming Operator experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates thread rollers to thread headed blanks to specification.
• Selects, installs, and adjusts threading die, die cutters, chamfering tools, feed grips, and related components.
• Adjusts speed control to synchronize transfer and ejection of stock.
• Maintains machines and keeps work area clean and safe.
• Verifies dimensions and modifies dies as needed.
• Identifies quality issues and works with engineers to troubleshoot.
