Job summary

Jobot Consulting is seeking an experienced Thread Roll Operator with aerospace fastener, precision blueprint reading, machine setup, and quality inspection skills. Salary is paid hourly, with 1st and 2nd shifts available on Monday–Friday.

You will set up thread rolling machines, read engineering drawings, perform in-process inspections using micrometers and gauges, monitor performance, and maintain a clean, safe work area while ensuring quality and efficiency across production lines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of thread rolling experience preferred.
• Experience in aerospace fastener manufacturing is highly desirable.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate thread rolling machines, including automatic and hand-fed equipment.
• Read and interpret process instructions, blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using measuring tools such as micrometers, comparators, microscopes, thread gauges, and tri-rolls.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency.
• Verify dimensions and thread specifications to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, or process deviations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
