Job summary

Jobot in California is seeking an experienced Thread Roll Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot thread rolling equipment to produce high-quality components that meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Hours include 1st shift (4AM-2:30PM) and 2nd shift (2:30PM-1AM), with 2 Saturdays per month and a Monday–Friday schedule. 3+ years in related field and blueprints/measuring tools experience required.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience operating and setting up thread rolling equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate thread rolling machines to produce parts according to engineering specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and production issues.
  • Complete production records, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Thread Roll Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting thread rolling equipment to produce high-quality components that meet customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong machining experience, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency using precision measuring instruments.

Hours: 1st shift and 2nd shift available

1st Shift (4AM-230PM)

2nd Shift (230PM-1AM)

will work 2 Saturdays per month

Days: Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate thread rolling machines to produce parts according to engineering specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in aerospace, fastener, automotive, or precision manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around machinery and metal products.
