Job summary

NOV is seeking an Inspection Technician to perform non-destructive testing and visual inspections using methods such as magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and ultrasonic testing. Responsibilities include following customer specs, SOPs, and safety protocols to ensure quality during production.

The role involves setting up and calibrating equipment, recording inspection results, communicating issues to supervisors, and generating inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Follow customer specifications, industry recommended practices, and company procedures to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform all assignments, duties and tasks in a safe manner while following standard operating procedures.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain critical control points to ensure excellent process and product quality.
• Set up and calibrate equipment according to work order.
• Communicate and coordinate all pertinent information to appropriate Supervisor/ Manager to ensure effective and safe operations.
• Performing quality checks throughout production runs.
• Inform the Supervisor/Manager or designee of any interruptions or irregularities in the production line.
• Follow all Company HSE, QMS policies and procedures and report to the appropriate personnel of any violations of these policies or procedures.
• Accurately create and maintain inspection and production reports as required.
• Perform other various job duties that may be required by the Supervisor/ Manager or their designee.
