Job summary

Precision Castparts in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Level 2 Operator to perform basic machine setups, operate equipment, and conduct in-process inspections to meet quality standards.

You will read work orders and process documentation, position parts for processing, and work with team members to maintain safe, efficient operations. Training in grinding/rolling processes may be provided, with opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Typically 1–3 years of manufacturing experience or technical certification/degree.
• Experience operating manufacturing machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain job assignments from Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
• Work safely and follow plant safety guidelines.
• Operate and perform basic machine setups.
• Load/unload material and position parts for processing.
• Interpret work orders and process documentation.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality.
• Use inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, comparators).
• Complete production reports and quality system transactions.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow 6S practices.
• Communicate with team and assist others as needed.
