Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) in Santa Ana, CA seeks a Level one thread/form roll operator to safely operate basic machines, read prints, and perform in-process inspections using calipers and micrometers. You will also perform basic PM tasks and assist teammates in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires basic shop math, English literacy, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Training will cover PPE, quality processes, and basic documentation duties.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must perform basic shop math and fractions.
• Must use basic hand tools and measurement tools.
• Must read and interpret work instructions and prints.
• Must be timely and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under PPE and guidelines.
• Adhere to in-process quality inspections.
• Use calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, drop gauges, pin gauges.
• Document 2 pieces every hour.
• Learn and follow the 3-pan rule.
• Thread materials including various steels and titanium.
• Operate 2 die packages (stationary and moving dies).
• Interpret work orders and blueprints.
• Lif t up to 35lbs.
• Work in a team environment and assist others as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
