Mayo Clinic is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Mary Brigh 7DE ICU in Minnesota. The RN coordinates nursing care, provides direct patient care, and leads patient/family education and transitions of care within Mayo Clinic’s Nursing Professional Practice Model.

This role offers leadership opportunities and the possibility of TN sponsorship. Applicants must hold a nursing degree, be licensed as an RN, and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN, CCNE, NLN CNEA.
• One year RN experience required.
• All entry-level RNs with a start date after Apr 1, 2020 must provide evidence of BSN within five years.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and teamwork; computer skills with EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends and on-call.
• Demonstrated leadership, effective communication, and strong critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and deliver direct patient care.
• Educate patients and families and manage transitions of care.
• Function within Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model and participate in leadership activities.
• May be required to drive a personal vehicle as part of the role.
