Job summary

Hawaii Permanente Medical Group invites an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a collaborative team in Honolulu. You will manage a mix of complex and straightforward thoracic cases, with access to state-of-the-art robotic and VATS equipment and dedicated support staff.

The ideal candidate is board-certified by ABTS, completed thoracic or cardiothoracic fellowship, with 3–5 years of experience and a robotic case log.

Qualifications

• Board-certified by ABTS with thoracic or cardiothoracic fellowship.
• 3–5 years of experience with thoracic surgery.
• Proficient in VATS and robotic approaches for benign and malignant disease.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex thoracic procedures including robotic and VATS techniques.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, nursing, and ICU teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Contribute to a supportive, non-competitive departmental culture.
