Job summary

Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics in the Pittsburgh area seeks a dedicated Thoracic Surgeon to join a multi-specialty group of physicians. The role features a balanced mix of inpatient and clinic responsibilities and opportunities to grow within an expanding program.

The position includes mentoring from nearby Thoracic/CT surgeons, a robotics program with expansion plans, and a supportive team of 2 APPs in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Responsibilities

• 50/50 inpatient/clinic responsibilities.
• Transition thoracic cases from CT Surgeons to the dedicated Thoracic Surgeon.
• Mentored by Butler CT Surgeons and Westmoreland Area Advanced Lung Center thoracic team.
• Operate with robotic platform; plans for a second robot.
• Provide patient care within a multi-specialty group.
