Job summary

UCHealth in Colorado is seeking a board-eligible/certified Thoracic Surgeon to join a well-established team at Medical Center of the Rockies. The candidate should have at least two years of experience and be committed to excellent patient care in a full-time role.

You will collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, oncology, interventional pulmonology, and general surgery teams, participate in tumor boards, and work with EPIC EMR in a modern Level I Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified Thoracic Surgeon
• Minimum of two years of experience in thoracic surgery
• Full-time availability in a hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Join a collegial team with one thoracic surgeon, five cardiac surgeons, and thirteen APPs.
• Collaborate with oncology, interventional pulmonology, and general surgery teams; participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards.
• Practice at Medical Center of the Rockies, a Level I Trauma Center with two cardiothoracic ORs, one hybrid OR, and DaVinci robotic systems.
• Participate in the Thoracic Steering Committee to support program growth.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system across the department.
