Job summary

Lovelace Medical Group's New Mexico Heart Institute in Albuquerque seeks a board-certified thoracic surgeon to join a four-surgeon team. The role features a mix of inpatient and outpatient duties, access to Da Vinci robotic systems, and a Monday–Friday schedule. Join a large, multi-specialty practice designed for patient-centered care.

The team emphasizes use of Epic EMR and AI-assisted documentation to optimize workflow, reduce admin burden, and improve outcomes for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Board-certified thoracic surgeon with ABTS certification.
• Experience in multi-specialty hospital settings preferred.
• Efficient in inpatient/outpatient management.

Responsibilities

• Provide thoracic surgical care in a high-volume Heart Hospital.
• Work 1.0 FTE with a 7am–5pm schedule, Monday–Friday.
• Participate in Q4 rotating call coverage and team collaboration.
