Dignity Health Medical Group - Stockton is seeking a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a premier cardiac program that has served the community for decades. You will perform a broad range of cardiac and thoracic cases using the da Vinci Xi robotic system and work closely with a collaborative team including intensivists and dedicated APPs.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board eligible or board certified in Thoracic Surgery (ABTS or AOBS).
• Active or eligible medical license in California.
• Active DEA certification (or eligibility to obtain).
• Completion of accredited Cardiothoracic Surgery residency/fellowship.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-based clinical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert full-spectrum surgical care across cardiac and thoracic cases using up-to-date technology including the da Vinci Xi robotic system.
• Collaborate with an established team of surgeons and a dedicated cardiac APP team to streamline clinical workflow.
• Coordinate with regional medical oncology groups to serve as a key provider for a six-to-eight county referral network.
• Participate in a sustainable call schedule designed to minimize emergent middle-of-the-night cases.
