Job summary

Allina Health in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro seeks a thoracic oncologic surgeon to join a growing cancer program. You will care for patients with lung, chest wall, mediastinal, and pleural diseases, using minimally invasive and robotic techniques to advance outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold MD/DO, board certification/eligibility in Thoracic Surgery, and ACGME/AOA training; fellowship in thoracic oncology is preferred. Expect a comprehensive, mission-driven team environment.

Qualifications

• Doctoral/MD or DO degree from an approved school of medicine.
• Completion of ACGME or AOA accredited Thoracic Surgery residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Thoracic Surgery on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced surgical care for thoracic oncology patients.
• Perform minimally invasive thoracic procedures including robotic surgery and VATS.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary tumor boards and patient-centered care.
