Allina Health in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN is seeking a fellowship-trained Thoracic Surgeon to join our growing thoracic oncology program.

You will provide advanced care for lung cancer and other thoracic diseases, with emphasis on robotic surgery, VATS, bronchoscopy, and esophageal procedures. This role offers a comprehensive practice within a multidisciplinary cancer institute, with weekly tumor boards and collaborative colleagues, a supportive team including PAs and nurses, and shared call

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO degree and thoracic surgery training
• Board certification in thoracic surgery required
• Eligible for Minnesota licensure
• 2+ years in thoracic or cardiothoracic surgery with focus on thoracic malignancy
• 2+ years robotic surgical experience

Aufgaben

• Evaluate and treat patients with lung cancer and other thoracic diseases
• Perform open and minimally invasive thoracic procedures including robotic surgery and VATS
• Participate in weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards
• Collaborate with a team of physician assistants, nurses, and coordinators
• Share call coverage with the thoracic surgery team
