Job summary

Baystate Health, a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts, seeks a BC/BE Medical Oncologist focused on Thoracic Oncology with interest in Head & Neck cancers to join our expanding faculty at Baystate Medical Center. The role blends clinical excellence with academic engagement in a hybrid, collaborative cancer program.

Qualifications

• ABMS Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology; Hematology/Oncology experience preferred.
• Fellowship training in thoracic oncology or interest in head & neck cancers preferred.
• Massachusetts medical licensure eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with thoracic malignancies within a multidisciplinary framework.
• Collaborate with surgery, pulmonary medicine, radiation oncology, radiology, and pathology.
• Participate in tumor boards, care pathway development, and programmatic growth in thoracic and head & neck oncology.
• Lead or contribute to clinical trials (investigator-initiated, cooperative group, industry-sponsored).
• Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students.

Education

ABMS Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology (Hematology/Oncology)

Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
