Job summary

Spencer Britt in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, seeks a BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist with a clinical focus on lung and thoracic malignancies to join its collaborative oncology team. The candidate will develop a focused thoracic practice, treat NSCLC, SCLC and related cancers, and maintain a component of general hematology/oncology as needed.

You will work with pulmonology, surgery, radiation, radiology and pathology, participate in tumor boards, and integrate molecular diagnostics, targeted therapies,

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• Completion of an accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship.
• Interest and experience in lung and thoracic oncology; evidence-based care.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Develop a focused lung and thoracic oncology practice.
• Treat NSCLC, SCLC and other thoracic cancers.
• Maintain a component of general hematology/oncology as needed.
• Collaborate with pulmonology, thoracic surgery, radiation oncology, radiology and pathology.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and treatment planning.
• Incorporate molecular diagnostics, targeted therapies, immunotherapy and emerging treatments.
• Opportunity to participate in clinical research and trials.
• Help expand thoracic oncology services and strengthen clinical pathways.
