Job summary

Britt Medical Search in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho seeks a BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist with a clinical interest in lung and thoracic malignancies to join its collaborative oncology team.

Develop a focused thoracic oncology practice, treat thoracic cancers and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards, while collaborating with pulmonology, thoracic surgery, radiation oncology, radiology and pathology. This role offers exposure to clinical research in a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• Completion of an accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship.
• Strong clinical interest/experience in lung and thoracic oncology.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered cancer care.
• Interest in multidisciplinary collaboration and development of thoracic oncology services.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Develop a focused lung and thoracic oncology practice within an established community cancer program.
• Treat patients with non-small cell and small cell lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies.
• Maintain general hematology/oncology services based on patient demand.
• Collaborate with pulmonology, thoracic surgery, radiation oncology, radiology and pathology.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and coordinated treatment planning.
• Incorporate molecular diagnostics, targeted therapies, immunotherapy and emerging treatments into patient care.
• Participate in clinical research and clinical trials based on interest.
• Help expand thoracic oncology services and strengthen clinical pathways across cancer care.
