Job description

We're looking for an individual who embodies the luxury lifestyle experience. This candidate will have a passion for exceptional hotel service and who can express that belief in an atmosphere of spontaneity and authenticity.

Cook 2 Responsibilities:
  1. Execute their assigned service period, with a focus on high-quality and timely food, in addition to maintaining their station and work area.
  2. Responsible for preparing quality food and pleasing presentations, as well as meeting food handling and quality assurance standards.
  3. Set up your station as specified in a timely manner, tasting to ensure quality of all mise en place. Take ownership of your station, work actively to fix problems, and prevent issues from arising.
  4. Ensure all prep is done before the start of service, and communicate any needs to a manager if unable to complete in time.
  5. If you see a pile-up of dishes in the dish station while a steward is not on duty, assist by jumping in and lending a hand.
  6. Clean your station thoroughly at the end of your shift, including scrubbing surfaces and equipment, discarding old mise en place, replacing foil, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash.
  7. Fill out accurate prep lists for station mates and the prep team.
  8. Perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
  9. Train new colleagues on station and menu items.
  10. Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership.
