Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Hagerstown, Maryland. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a path toward a meaningful career in supply chain maintenance.

The position includes third shift (Thursday-Saturday 7:00 pm–7:00 am, every other Wednesday 7:00 pm–7:00 am) with pay details that reflect overtime and shift differentials. A focus on safety and continuous improvement guides everyday work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8-10 years plant/warehouse maintenance experience.
• Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder.
• Experience operating forklift equipment required.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and trouble-shooting functions on all warehousing equipment in an independent and effective manner.
• Maintains and trouble-shoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable.
• Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems.
• Performs routine forklift repairs.
• Maintains batteries and related equipment.
• Perfoms routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs.
• If required, provides training, including aspects of safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment, for operations associates.
• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed.
