Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Hagerstown, MD. The role involves maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment, ensuring safe, efficient operations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work on the third shift with a schedule Thursday-Saturday 7:00 pm–7:00 am and alternating Wednesdays. Competitive hourly pay, overtime, and comprehensive benefits are offered to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 8–10 years plant/warehouse maintenance experience, including electrical and mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
• Must be able to make quick, reliable decisions representing customer and Ryder.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Forklift operation experience required; equipment certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on warehouse equipment independently and effectively.
• Maintain plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable.
• Understand shop maintenance, parts inventory, ordering, and reporting systems.
• Perform routine forklift repairs and battery maintenance.
• Provide training on safety, quality, sanitation, and equipment operation if required.
• Overtime as needed and additional duties as assigned.
