Job summary

Welch's in North East, PA operates a 24/7 packaging facility and seeks a Packaging Supervisor (10pm–7am) with weekend coverage as needed. You will lead safety, quality and production efficiency, guiding packaging teams to meet objectives and drive engagement.

You will oversee audits, coaching, planning daily operations, removing obstacles, and pursuing cost savings and continuous improvement. Requires a bachelor’s degree in operations/engineering, 2–5 years in manufacturing, and ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Operations Management or Engineering.
• Minimum 2–5 years of manufacturing experience; Food & Beverage preferred.
• Ability to work third shift.

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure safety and quality by audits of production areas and paperwork.
• Supervise packaging personnel to meet objectives and foster engagement.
• Plan and direct daily operations, assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Lead cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives.
