Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Chambersburg, PA seeks a Warehouse/Forklift Operator to join our distribution team. This role handles loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse or powered industrial truck exp preferred.
• Valid forklift operator license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Responsibilities

• Perform loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Operate forklifts and assist with cycle counting.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork.
• Support automated packing systems during production.
• Meet performance guidelines under contract.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
