Job summary

Ryder is hiring Material Handlers in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania for third shift positions with weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path in a safe, organized warehouse environment.

As a Warehouse Forklift Operator, you will work with cherry pickers, order pickers, pallet jacks and forklifts to support distribution across the US; benefits start after 30 days and include medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid training, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and forklift operation.
• Maintain accuracy in picking, packing, auditing, and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide support for automated packing systems during production shifts.
• Perform duties within performance guidelines of the contract.
• Other duties as assigned.
