Third Shift Assistant Machine Operators
Automation Personnel Services is seeking Third Shift Assistant Machine Operators for a manufacturing facility in Ball Ground, Georgia. This position includes assisting with machine operations, inspecting and packaging products, helping maintain consistent production workflows, and additional related job duties. Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours: Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Third Shift Assistant Machine Operators Duties and Responsibilities

1. Conduct visual inspections and use measuring tools such as calipers to ensure all products meet established quality standards.
2. Accurately complete all quality checks, labeling, and documentation in a timely manner.
3. Monitor and organize packaging materials, ensuring stock is maintained at optimal levels.
4. Properly store finished products to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
5. Assist with die changeovers and perform on-line die cleaning as needed.
6. Submit maintenance work orders for equipment repairs or issues.
7. Keep the work area clean and safe by following housekeeping and safety procedures.
8. Additional related job duties as assigned by management.

Third Shift Assistant Machine Operators Qualifications and Requirements

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. 1-2 years of material handling, machine operating, extrusion technician, or similar experience is required.
3. Experience using measuring tools including tape measures or calipers.
4. Effective oral and written communication skills and computer skills.
5. Must be able to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.
6. Drug screening and background check are required.
7. Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted, in office lifting assessment is required.

Job Type: Full time, Temporary to Hire
