Job description

Third Shift Machine Operator Helpers
Automation Personnel Services is seeking Third Shift Machine Operator Helpers for a manufacturing facility in Ball Ground, Georgia. This position includes assisting with machine operations, inspecting and packaging products, helping keep production running efficiently, and additional related job duties. Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours: Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Third Shift Machine Operator Helper Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist machine operators with daily production tasks and setups.
2. Perform visual inspections and use measuring tools like calipers to verify product quality.
3. Complete required quality checks, labeling, and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Organize and maintain inventory of packaging materials.
5. Store finished goods in designated areas to support workplace organization.
6. Help with die changeovers and perform on-line die cleaning when needed.
7. Report equipment issues and assist in submitting maintenance work orders.
8. Keep the work area clean and safe by following housekeeping and safety procedures.
9. Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Third Shift Machine Operator Helper Qualifications and Requirements

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. 1-2 years of material handling, machine operating, extrusion technician, or similar experience is required.
3. Experience using measuring tools including tape measures or calipers.
4. Effective oral and written communication skills and computer skills.
5. Must be able to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.
6. Drug screening and background check are required.
7. Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted; an office lifting assessment is required.

Job Type: Full time, Temporary to Hire
