Job summary

  • Strong background in contract negotiation, vendor management, and pricing discussions.
  • Understanding of warehousing, transportation, shipping, and related logistics processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience tracking KPIs and developing operational reports and dashboards.
  • Proficiency with WMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with external warehouse and logistics service providers.
  • Monitor vendor performance, service levels, KPIs, pricing, and contractual obligations.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, performance audits, and follow-up on improvement initiatives.
  • Negotiate pricing, service agreements, contract terms, and renewals.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with internal teams and external partners.
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies, shipment delays, service issues, and operational escalations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, improve accuracy, and reduce costs.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
  • Support audits and corrective action plans as needed.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, schedules, and KPIs related to warehouse and logistics performance.
  • Analyze operational data and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams including Customer Service, Transportation, Procurement, and other supply chain functions.
