ICON Strategic Solutions in Center Square, PA, is seeking a Third Party Quality Lead to oversee planning, management and distribution of clinical supplies for trials. You will ensure GMP compliance, supplier oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to meet study timelines.

We value strong logistics expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage complex supply chains across multiple studies, with travel up to 10%. This is a sponsor-dedicated role within ICON's global network.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
• Extensive experience in clinical supply management or logistics in pharma/biotech.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for clinical supplies, including GMP.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills for complex multi-study supply chains.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with internal teams and external vendors.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%.

Third Party Quality Lead

As a Third Party Quality Lead at ICON, you will oversee the planning, management, and distribution of clinical supplies to support the successful execution of clinical trials.

What You Will Do:

Your focus will be on coordinating clinical supplies and logistics delivery, resolving issues, and developing team capability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the end-to-end clinical supply chain, including forecasting, procurement, distribution, and inventory management for clinical trials.


• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop supply strategies that align with study timelines and regulatory requirements.


• Ensuring the timely delivery of clinical supplies to study sites, while monitoring and maintaining inventory levels to avoid shortages or delays.


• Overseeing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts to ensure high-quality materials and services at competitive costs.


• Providing leadership and guidance on best practices in clinical supply management, compliance, and risk mitigation.

Your Profile:

You will have solid clinical supplies and logistics experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, life sciences, or a related discipline


• Extensive experience in clinical supply management or logistics, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.


• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to clinical supplies, including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).


• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex supply chains across multiple studies.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.


• Willingness to travel as required (approximately 10%)
