Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related field ( Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Eng., Physics, Chemistry )
• 3+ years in lab with vacuum systems (cryo, turbo, mechanical)
• Experience depositing thin films via vapor deposition
• Experience with CW and pulsed lasers, laser optics and diagnostics
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOE Q clearance

Aufgaben

• Operate and maintain thin film deposition systems for research, prototyping and production
• Execute complex deposition designs including thick coatings
• Characterize produced films with various techniques
• Calibrate and align equipment; implement modifications as needed
• Prepare substrates and troubleshoot vacuum systems
• Oversee equipment contracts and vendor support on site
